Spooktacular Halloween
On October 26, 2025, Flash Forward Creative partnered with The Streets of Tanasbourne to host a large-scale family Halloween celebration featuring trick-or-treating, a DIY immersive Halloween maze, costume activities, retailer engagement, and live media promotion. This was one of the center’s largest seasonal activations, designed to bring families together, support retailers, and create a fun and memorable community experience.
Event Objectives
• Create a safe, family-friendly Halloween experience for the community
• Support retailers through heightened onsite energy and visibility
• Increase property-wide engagement and guest movement across the center
• Deliver promotional reach through media support and social marketing
Attendance & Participation Highlights
• 300+ total event attendance
• 30 participating retailers handing out candy
• 22 participants in the Halloween Costume Contest
Event Experience & Production
This was a DIY Halloween activation and required a heavier logistical lift and creative production effort compared to previous events. Flash Forward Creative led planning and execution of an immersive Halloween environment, including the purchase and placement of themed décor, hay bales, and the design of a custom Halloween maze that became a major attraction for families.
To ensure families had a full trick‑or‑treat experience, the property purchased more than $4,000 worth of candy that was distributed to retailers to hand out during the event. This helped increase store participation and ensured consistency across the center.
To elevate the Halloween celebration even further, the event included a live DJ, food truck experiences, and an influencer partnership, helping boost energy onsite and extend awareness to a broader digital audience.
Media & Marketing Exposure
The event received strong promotional support through a KATU media buy and onsite coverage. Slime Kitchen and P.F. Chang’s participated in live media interviews to promote both their businesses and the Halloween event, generating additional excitement and awareness.
Digital & Social Media Impact
The Halloween event generated strong online engagement, including:
• 23,000+ total social media views
• 6,865 average views per post
• 45.5 average likes per post
• 27 new followers gained during the campaign period
These metrics highlight strong online interest and community excitement surrounding the event, supporting both brand visibility and audience growth.
Flash Forward Creative Support
Flash Forward Creative led creative direction, event planning, décor execution, retailer engagement, promotional strategy, media partnership coordination, onsite event support, and post‑event recap reporting. Given the scale of the Halloween activation, this project required advanced planning, increased resourcing, and elevated creative execution.
Flash Forward Creative was also onsite on the day of the event to oversee activation, support retailers, manage logistics, and ensure a smooth and successful guest experience.
Conclusion
The Halloween event successfully delivered a high‑energy seasonal celebration for families, strengthened community connection, drove retailer participation, and produced measurable digital and onsite results. It also demonstrated the value of immersive DIY event builds and the impact of pairing onsite activations with strong promotional and media support.
